Drug information

Epocrates has good online information about drugs and side effects without having to give any personal information. At the same location, you can also do a check for interactions between all drugs that you are taking, but this requires registration with your email address. I don't believe they send you junk email if you do this, but I'm not sure.

Stress management

Time management

  • Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity
My favorite book on time management, the one I use myself. David Allen's got a much better method for keeping track of things than any other books I've read. I certainly don't do everything he says, but I do go back and re-read the book every year or so. This book has reached near-cult status among some engineers.
  • Living the 80/20 Way: Work Less, Worry Less, Succeed More, Enjoy More
Not really about time management, but about how to prioritize everything in your life. Have too much to do? Learn to separate the vital few from the trivial many. The idea is simple, but I've been told that understanding the 80/20 principle is one of the most important keys to management consulting. I try to apply these principles in my practice.
